PARIS - The Paris office of global law firm Reed Smith advised a pool of investors in the fundraising of Posos, an innovative French start-up specialising in the automatic processing of medical language. Posos raised approximately €9.8 million in a Series A financing round.

The funding will enable Posos to continue developing its tool for recommending personalised drug prescriptions based on the patient and the risks identified in their prescriptions, to recruit twenty additional employees, and to deploy its solution internationally.

To complete this transaction, Reed Smith Paris mobilised a multidisciplinary team composed of Guilain Hippolyte (partner) and Marco Hazan (associate) for the Corporate and M&A part; Marianne Schaffner (partner), Thierry Lautier (partner), William Salinger (patent attorney) and Christophe Arfan (associate) for the intellectual property issues; as well as Natasha Tardif (partner) and Camille Martin Saint Leon (associate) for the regulatory aspects.
