Stuart is an associate in the Houston office, he is a member of the Emerging Technologies group. Stuart works with clients to develop practical and strategic approaches to navigating the complex regulatory environments related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI. His experience includes drafting privacy policies and terms of use, building data subject request solutions, responding to regulatory and self-regulatory body inquiries, and negotiating technology agreements, particularly in SaaS and AI procurement. He has helped clients with compliance efforts with several privacy regimes including CCPA and other state consumer privacy laws, COPPA, FCRA, GDPR and others. In addition to his compliance work, Stuart has assisted multiple clients in the development and launch of innovative products by developing risk mitigation strategies and collaborating with cross-functional legal and business stakeholders. Stuart's contributions extend beyond transactional and advisory matters, as he enhances organizational resilience through development of bespoke cyber incident preparedness strategies and supports companies in incident response efforts.
