Michelle is an associate in the firm’s Global Corporate Group. She focuses on domestic and international tax planning for multi-national corporations, private equity and hedge funds, closely-held businesses, and high-net worth individuals and families in their personal business endeavors. Michelle concentrates on advising businesses on sophisticated corporate and cross-border tax issues. She has assisted clients on broad range of tax matters, including international tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, fund formation, and capital markets transactions. She also has tax due diligence, modeling, controversy resolution, compliance, and provision review experience. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Michelle was a senior associate at Withers Bergman LLP in the firm’s International Corporate Tax Group.
