BIPA continues to evolve but Texas has joined the fray with CUBI. Another splash is Colorado, whose biometric privacy law is arguably the most unique (and burdensome) of them all. Not to be outdone, California and Canada have added new risks of their own. This session is a crash course into the new rules and risks surrounding biometric processing, with practical compliance advice designed to address key risks. Information on key international regulations will also be provided.
CLE Information: This program is presumptively approved for 1.0 CLE credit in California, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and West Virginia. Applications for CLE credit will be filed in Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia.
