Held in historic Charleston, South Carolina, the conference serves as one of the premier forums for education, networking, and discussion within the energy and mineral law community.

The program will feature presentations and panel discussions covering developments across traditional and emerging energy sectors, including regulatory updates, environmental and permitting issues, litigation trends, transactions, ESG considerations, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence and technology on the legal and energy industries. Attendees will also have opportunities to earn continuing legal education (CLE) credit while connecting with peers and industry leaders from across the country.

In addition to substantive programming, the Annual Institute offers a strong networking component, including receptions, social events, and professional development opportunities designed to foster collaboration among practitioners, in-house counsel, land professionals, and business leaders.

Reed Smith is proud to serve as a sponsor of the 47th Annual Institute and supports the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to advance education and dialogue across the energy and mineral law sectors.
