Nick is a partner in the Entertainment and Media Industry Group and a member of the On Chain: Reed Smith’s Crypto & Digital Assets Group. He focuses on digital media, music, blockchain and NFTs, advertising and video games.
Nick advises clients on a range of regulatory, commercial and copyright matters. In particular, Nick has extensive experience in the music business and helps clients navigate the increasingly-complex world of international rights acquisition, exploitation and licensing. Nick also advises advertisers, agencies and brands on a range of copyright, clearance and general commercial matters. Within the Web3 world, Nick advises both traditional brands as well as blockchain-native companies through the lifecycle of blockchain, NFT and metaverse projects, from regulatory analysis, copyright and IP protection, as well as contractual arrangements between stakeholders, platforms and consumers. Nick regularly provides training to clients on NFT and Web3 strategy.
