Brian has been a key attorney on bellwether mass tort trial teams, including in the nation’s third largest MDL comprised of over 17,000 cases, and drafted several winning dispositive motions. He has considerable experience in all aspects of litigation, being the primary attorney on dozens of key depositions, drafting and arguing motions, crafting cross and direct trial examination outlines of expert witnesses, preparing mock trial presentations, propounding and responding to discovery, and formulating trial strategy.

Brian has an inside understanding of the judiciary, having served as a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero of the United States District Court, Northern District of California, where he drafted judicial opinions. In law school, Brian was also a member of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and Moot Court Board. He competed in moot court competitions throughout the United States and received several awards for his written and oral advocacy, including being a finalist at a national moot court competition. Brian further served as a teaching assistant to Appellate Advocacy and Legal Writing and Research classes.
