He has worked on cross-border commercial disputes in various sectors and industries, including construction, energy, hospitality and commodities. He has advised on arbitral proceedings under various institutional rules, such as the SIAC, ICC and LCIA, as well as ad hoc arbitrations.

Representative matters

Represented the sole owner of a European holding company in defending LCIA arbitration proceedings brought by a former co-owner of the holding company relating to disputes (with claims in excess of US$70 million) arising out of the separation of business interests.
Represented a major Japanese general trading company defending arbitral proceedings (totalling approximately US$50 million) under ICC rules brought by a Singapore manufacturer in relation to a long-term supply contract.
Represented a Swiss-based multinational corporation in a SIAC arbitration against a Singapore company arising from a contract for the sale and purchase of coal.
