As an R&I lawyer, Colin advises insolvency practitioners, corporate clients, creditors, trustees and directors across a range of industry sectors with particular experience in shipping, aviation, real estate, media and financial services. Colin has particular experience in advising private credit funds on enforcement and loan to own strategies and restructurings and advising debtors on contingency planning and directors’ duties.

Colin also advises clients on a wide range of asset-backed financings, namely receivables and supply chain financing, working with both lenders and borrowers/originators. Colin’s insolvency and restructuring experience gives him great insight into how to mitigate risks for lenders.

Colin has completed two six-month client secondments at the Civil Aviation Authority and the asset-finance team at Barclays Bank Plc.
