Representing H Company 6 Limited on the regearing of several leases in Derby to Rolls Royce and the related Section 106 agreement. This complex transaction was flagged in the press as being of “critical national importance”.
Acting for H Company 2 Limited on a pre-let of office space at “Twenty Bonhill”, Shoreditch, to law firm Kingsley Napley. Twenty Bonhill provides 70,245 sq. ft. of accommodation over seven floors and facilities, which include parking for 110 cycles and a roof terrace.
Advising CEG on a land sale to Sunset Studios of a 91-acre site, 17 miles north of central London, for £120 million to a joint venture formed by Hudson Pacific and Blackstone Properties. The proposed development will turn the site into a world-class film and television studio campus; the deal resulted in widespread press coverage, with the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, commenting that: “This investment is excellent news for the UK’s film and TV industry, pumping hundreds of millions of pounds into the local economy and creating thousands of jobs for the people of Hertfordshire.”
Advising the TJX Group on its lease of premises on Oxford Street to serve as its flagship T K Maxx store in London and in connection with the new leasing of a 450,000 sq. ft. logistics centre in Crewe.
Acting on a £73 million sustainable transition loan agreement with Aviva Investors to assist investors and developers in ensuring new buildings and redevelopments are managed with a distinct focus on sustainability, thus helping to tackle climate change through improving energy efficiency.
