John is counsel in the firm’s Tysons office. John advises clients across multiple industries in the areas of corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment management. He represents buyers and sellers in acquisitions and has significant experience structuring partnerships and joint ventures. For public and private investor clients, John negotiates limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, and side letters for investments into private funds. John also regularly negotiates terms for commercial agreements such as vendor and supplier contracts.
For public and private investor clients, John has negotiated terms of limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, and side letters for investments into private equity, real estate, natural resources, and credit opportunity funds. He also has advised on fund formation matters, including the formation of a maritime debt fund for a private fund sponsor. John also negotiates terms for commercial agreements including custodial agreements and vendor and supplier contracts.
