Christina litigates complex product liability, commercial and employment matters, with a focus on representing life sciences clients.
She maintains an active practice advising medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies in product liability litigation. Her experience includes defending manufacturers in mass tort litigation and individual lawsuits involving cardiac, neurological, pharmaceutical and women’s health products and providing counsel on a range of issues including preemption, fraud allegations and punitive damages claims.
As an extension of her core practice, Christina has significant experience with a range of international law issues including jurisdiction, forum non conveniens, discovery and enforcement of arbitration agreements. She is fluent in Spanish.
Christina also has extensive experience representing financial institutions, investors and corporations in litigating contract disputes, real estate claims, disputes over commercial and consumer transactions and alleged violations of state and federal statutes such as the FCCPA, FCRA, FDCPA, FDUTPA, FLSA and TCPA.
Christina also counsels clients through employment issues including the development of employee handbooks and effective workplace policies, internal and outside investigations, discipline issues, and compliance matters. She represents clients in wage and hour, discrimination, and retaliation disputes in federal and state court and before administrative agencies. Christina also advises clients on accessibility issues related to Title III of the ADA.
