As a senior associate in Reed Smith’s dedicated pro bono practice for Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA), Jessica supports our charity and not-for-profit clients in navigating their legal issues, guiding them through our pro bono commercial legal advice offering, and helping them to access the legal advice and representation they need. Jessica also structures and oversees our cross-jurisdictional international human rights projects involving lawyers across our EMEA offices.
Jessica is a member of pro bono networks including the UK Collaborative Plan, the European Pro Bono Initiative, and the Asia Regional Pro Bono Roundtable, and contributes thought leadership within these networks.
Jessica’s own practice has included representing a charity in an urgent intervention in the context of a time-sensitive deportation flight, as well as supervising disability benefit appeals and leave to remain applications for children and their families.
Committed to pro bono since the outset of her legal career, Jessica completed secondments during her training contract with both Reprieve, a not-for-profit organisation fighting for the end of the death penalty, and Liberty, a civil rights organisation.
