Jean-Pierre will continue the office’s development strategy by relying on an active recruitment policy, as illustrated by the recent arrivals of Ilana Smadja in financing, Marie Crumière in restructuring, and Agathe Malphettes in IT and data, and fully aligns with Reed Smith’s international expansion strategy. The firm continues to grow and has recently opened offices in Boston, Denver, Houston, and Riyadh.
“Our goal is to strengthen the office in our transactional practice, following the example of these recent offices which have a strong focus on M&A, Private Equity, and Financing, to continue attracting top-tier lawyers, and to fully leverage Reed Smith’s international platform to serve our clients in France,” says Jean-Pierre Collet, Managing Partner of Reed Smith in France.
Currently composed of 55 lawyers, including 19 partners, the Paris office offers a comprehensive platform covering corporate, financing, banking law, restructuring, tax, employment law, intellectual property, real estate, public and regulatory law, litigation and arbitration, as well as transportation.
