Jean-Pierre is the office managing partner of Reed Smith’s Paris office. His practice covers all areas of corporate taxation.
Jean-Pierre has specific experience advising domestic and international companies, investment funds, and entrepreneurs on tax structuring, restructuring, and the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions in France. He has more than 30 years of experience representing large French and international groups, as well as investment funds, in connection with their acquisitions and restructurings in France. He also assists clients with tax audits and litigation, and negotiates resolutions with tax authorities.
Before joining Reed Smith, Jean-Pierre led the tax department of Winston & Strawn. He previously was a tax partner at KPMG France and served as a tax lawyer at Arthur Andersen International.
