Accor announced on July 23, 2026 that it had signed the definitive sale agreement for its stake in Essendi. The transaction covers the sale of the entire stake for an amount that could reach approximately €975 million, of which approximately €675 million is to be received upon completion of the transaction, with an additional earn-out of up to €300 million.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory and antitrust approvals.
