Reed Smith advises Orgvue on investment from Main Capital Partners

LONDON – Reed Smith has advised Orgvue and its management team on the sale of the Orgvue Group to Main Capital Partners, a Netherlands-based private equity investment firm. The transaction marks Main Capital’s first platform investment in the UK.

Headquartered in London, Orgvue is a leading provider of strategic workforce management software, helping large global enterprises design, plan, and optimise their workforces through its cloud-based platform. The company has approximately 250 employees, serves close to 200 global enterprise customers, and works with more than 50 consulting firms worldwide, with offices across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

The transaction involved the sale of Orgvue by a diverse shareholder base comprising individual employee shareholders, institutional investors, and members of the management team, who will reinvest in the business.

The transaction will support Orgvue’s next phase of growth, with a focus on continued product innovation, international expansion, and deeper engagement with its enterprise customer base. Main Capital and Orgvue also intend to pursue selective strategic add-on acquisitions to broaden Orgvue’s product capabilities and international reach.

The parties entered into a definitive agreement on 28 July 2026, and the transaction completed on 28 August 2026.

The Reed Smith deal team was led by partners Ravi Pattani and Samantha Roberts, with corporate support from associates Ciaran Sweeney and Georgia Crossman and trainee Nat Cameron; tax advice from Caspar Fox and Tom Baxter; and specialist support from colleagues across the firm’s London and U.S. offices.
