Monty is an associate and English-qualified solicitor within the Transportation Industry Group.
He advises shipowners, trading houses, charterers, brokers, and protection and indemnity clubs on a diverse range of shipping, commodities, and commercial matters.
He is experienced in dispute resolution relating to live trading issues, mediation, arbitration, High Court, multijurisdictional, and enforcement proceedings. His practice also includes general advisory work on contracts and day-to-day trading enquiries across the supply chain.
Monty trained as a solicitor in London and previously spent over a year and a half working in the Milan office of an international law firm. He was also seconded to a global trading house in London for over a year and has worked in Hong Kong and Mumbai.
