Ann is adept in the settlement of complex insurance disputes, with a special focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Ann has represented clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She also counsels clients in connection with the operation of coverage-in-place agreements. She also was one of the first developers of computerized insurance allocation models for long-tail claims. These models have been used in product liability, environmental remediation, and toxic tort claims.

In addition, Ann has acted as insurance coverage counsel to debtors, asbestos claimants committees, and future claimant representatives in section 524(g) bankruptcy proceedings. In the April 2007 issue of The Deal’s Bankruptcy Insider, Ann was ranked second among active legal advisors to asbestos claimants of bankrupt companies.
