Webinar Length: 60 Minutes

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has issued proposed rules regarding "the examination and possible regulation by the (CFPB) of pre-dispute arbitration agreements in contracts for consumer financial products and services." These rule changes may mean that institutions will need to revise current arbitration clauses and consider alternatives to current processes.

Join us for an hour long webinar to gain a better understanding of the proposed rule changes, the substantive litigation challenges, and the implications for class action litigation and related risk mitigation strategies which may occur if the proposed rules are adopted in their present form. Topics will include:

An overview of the proposed rules

A discussion of the potential impact on procedures, communications and litigation

Process and deadline for submitting comments, implementation issues and next steps
