This program will explore how state lawyer assistance programs (LAPs) support the legal community with regard to mental health issues. Learn about the current state of mental health in the legal community, the industry’s response thus far and why stigma suppresses help-seeking behavior. Hear from dedicated LAP experts who provide confidential counseling, referrals, interventions, and peer support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges or addiction. Learn how LAPs provide the various services not only to lawyers in need, but also to family members and colleagues.
