Attorneys will discuss their experiences practicing international law in a range of contexts, including advising a national government, working for an international court, acting as a human rights advocate, and participating as counsel in investment treaty disputes.  

They will provide insights into how they found opportunities in their practice areas, what drew them to their specializations, how they have navigated job transitions, what skills they have needed to succeed or have developed in their practice, how they engage with international law, and what future opportunities their experiences have opened up to them. The session will consist of short presentations by each speaker, describing their career path and current practice, with an interactive format and ample time for questions from the audience.
