This year's Vis Moot problem involves an arbitration claim under the PCA Rules against an SOE with allegations of bribery/corruption as well as issues regarding the enforceability of the arbitration agreement due to Parliament's failure to vote to approve the inclusion of the arbitration clause as required by local (fictitious country) law. It also involves issues of CISG interpretation (does a drone fall within or outside Article 2(e) of the CISG?).
Fordham will host more than 40 teams from 16 countries at the pre-moot, and the Showcase Round is one of the pre-moot highlights.
The Showcase Round will feature the two teams with the highest scores at the end of the Saturday pre-moot arguments.
