(May 16, 2006, New York City, NY) – Reed Smith LLP, an international top 25 law firm, today announced that Aron Izower has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate & Securities Group. He is resident in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Izower comes to Reed Smith from the New York office of White & Case LLP, where he worked in the capital markets arena, specializing in securities transactions.

Mr. Izower has represented issuers, underwriters and purchasers in securities matters and corporate finance transactions, concentrating in high-yield debt offerings. His recent practice activities have included U.S. offerings under Rule 144A, U.S. registered public offerings of debt and equity securities, private equity sales, fund formation, mezzanine financing, exchange offers, consent solicitations, issuances in connection with corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and the preparation of SEC reporting documents.
