Reed Smith is a “prominent firm for advice in the tokenisation and digital payments fields,” bolstered by its “strong regulatory knowledge and presence,” according to Chambers FinTech. Foreign offices in Europe and Asia enable the firm to set up a broader range of arrangements in the ICO space than competing law firms, Chambers said.

The publication listed Herbert Kozlov as a recommended contact. His practice focuses on corporate law, corporate governance, private equity transactions, capital markets transactions, venture capital transactions, partnership matters, cross-border transactions, and more. Kozlov chairs the firm’s global FinTech practice.

Chambers bases its recommendations on in-depth interviews with leading innovators and experts worldwide. This is the second year Chambers has included rankings for law firms that work in the FinTech space. It is also the second year Kozlov was mentioned and the practice earned a ranking.
