The Government Contractor

On January 20, the U.S. Supreme Court in its decision in Campbell-Ewald Co. v. Gomez, __ U.S. __, 136 S. Ct. 663 (2016), revised (Feb. 9, 2016); 58 GC 41, clarified the scope of “Yearsley immunity”—a form of derivative sovereign immunity available to qualifying Government contractors when they are sued for injury or damages resulting from their work under a Government contract.
