A Cuban-American and Miami native, Ana María speaks fluent Spanish. She is licensed to practice law in both common law and civil code jurisdictions. Out of law school, Ana María clerked at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico after obtaining the third-highest score on the Puerto Rico bar exam. Ana María's professional experience, coupled with her appreciation of the cultural differences in the practice of law abroad, brings a unique set of skills to the table when it comes to effectively representing Reed Smith's clients in domestic and international disputes.

Ana María serves as the RED team ambassador for the firm’s Miami office and has experience overseeing teams of attorneys during the often daunting e-discovery phase of litigation.
