Allison is a computer engineer and registered patent practitioner with technical knowledge and experience in all phases of litigation, allowing her to advise clients on securing and defending intellectual property in a wide variety of high-tech industries.
Allison's engineering background provides her with a strong foundation to deliver targeted and effective advice assisting in case management, fact discovery, expert discovery, motion practice, claim construction and dispute resolution. Her experience spans a variety of industries including electronic manufacturing, semi-conductor, software, hardware and consumer goods. She has been involved in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigations before various federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
In addition to litigation, Allison brings experience representing her clients in procuring IP protection and licenses in consumer, high-tech, and medical industries.
Prior to law school, Allison worked as an application development engineer for a major commercial real estate firm working with clients to create artificial intelligence-driven hardware and software solutions for greener intelligent building systems.
