Trisha is a senior associate in Reed Smith’s Energy and Natural Resources Group. Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration, public international law, and litigation proceedings in common law jurisdictions.
She has experience working as counsel and tribunal secretary under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, LCIA, DIAC rules as well as ad hoc arbitrations.
Trisha advises clients in many different industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, telecommunications, information management and pharmaceutical disputes relating to, inter alia, taxation, regulatory issues, state measures, shareholder rights and contractual issues and advice. She also assists clients in drafting and negotiating gas supply agreements, allocation protocols, pipeline operator contracts and related service contracts. She has advised clients on investment structuring and treaty claims analysis under investment treaties, as well as drafting of arbitration agreements.
She is the Managing Editor of the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review (published on Kluwer), a co-founder of ENERAP UK (Energy Related Arbitration Practitioners), the India representative in the Asia-Pacific Forum for International Arbitration and a peer reviewer for Oxford University Press.
Trisha has been ranked as “Ones to Watch: International Arbitration” by Best Lawyers UK since 2013.
