Victoria is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment group. Victoria is a seasoned litigator who is dedicated to defending employers with integrity and unwavering resolve and committed to securing the best results possible for her clients. She has substantial experience handling all phases of civil litigation in federal and state court starting from discovery, depositions, motion practice to settlement negotiations as well as disputes in arbitration and before state administrative agencies, including the Civil Rights Department (CRD) and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). Victoria has defended companies against wage and hour class actions and California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions concerning minimum wage, meal and rest breaks, overtime, adequate record-keeping, off-the-clock claims among others. Victoria also has significant experience representing employers in single plaintiff litigation focusing on wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and failure to provide reasonable accommodations. She advises clients on difficult issues related to state and federal leave laws, harassment and discrimination issues, independent contractor compliance, terminations, and wage-hour laws.
