On day 1, Paris based partner Victoria Westcott will moderate a panel entitled ‘Investment in Central Asia and deal pipeline’, which will focus on the legislative frameworks in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and their application to infrastructure and energy projects, foreign investment into Central Asia and the region’s potential for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). She will take a deeper look at BRI progress thus far, heading up a roundtable on the initiative on day 2.
