EMnify is the leading cloud building block for cellular communications in the IoT stack, connecting millions of IoT devices globally – from electric vehicles to energy meters, alarm systems to GPS trackers, thermometers to health wearables.

Reed Smith advised EMnify on the corporate, financing, employment, intellectual property and regulatory aspects (German foreign trade regulations) of the transaction.

The team was led by corporate partner Dr. Octávio de Sousa, supported by partners Dr. Anette Gärtner (intellectual property), Dr. Michaela Westrup (regulatory – German foreign trade regulations) and associates Dr. Marcel Gellings (corporate), Johann Niller (corporate), and Vincent Magotsch (employment).

Dr. Octavio de Sousa said: “We are very pleased to have worked with EMnify on this latest funding round. The capital secured will help to support its global expansion and cement its position as the leading cellular IoT connectivity provider.”
