Law.com analyzed 55 top law firms across the UK to find the ones with the most impressive pro bono offerings.

Reed Smith built on the momentum created last year, when Law.com ranked its pro bono effort as fourth in the nation.

This year, Law.com highlighted Reed Smith’s partnership with Kids in Need of Defense UK (KIND UK), through which the firm's lawyers help children and their families regularise their immigration status.

Reed Smith’s UK-based lawyers worked 21,445 pro bono hours in 2022. More than 88% of the firm’s lawyers in the UK do pro bono service, with an average of 67 pro bono hours per lawyer. At Reed Smith pro bono work counts toward utilization targets.

Becca Naylor, counsel and head of pro bono EMEA, commented: “This ranking is a fantastic recognition of the impact of our Pro Bono Practice and projects. I am grateful to the hundreds of lawyers in our London office who are committed to using their knowledge and experience to advise our pro bono clients.”
