In recognition of Epilepsy Awareness Month we would like to introduce you to Luke Debevec, a founding member of LEADRS, Reed Smith’s disability focused business inclusion group, who talks about how epilepsy doesn’t define him as a person or as a partner at Reed Smith.
As someone with an infrequently visible condition, Luke discusses how self-disclosure leads to conversation which then, in turn, leads to accommodation and support. Luke goes on to say that self disclosure also allows those who are eager to help know how they can provide support when needed.
