Ryan’s practice involves a wide range of commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, contract disputes, products liability litigation, bankruptcy matters, and food product litigation.
Ryan is experienced in all phases of pre-trial practice, including authoring and arguing dispositive and Rule 702 motions, drafting pleadings, managing voluminous discovery, including e-discovery, and taking depositions. Additionally, he has extensive experience working with expert witnesses, and preparing and presenting corporate witnesses.
Ryan graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law.
Ryan also maintains a robust pro bono practice, and has been recognized by the Allegheny County Bar Association for his work achieving favorable results for pro bono clients in prisoner civil rights cases. Ryan serves on the Board of the Legal Clinic for the Disabled.
