Emily focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, finance transactions, strategic investments, emerging companies and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily was an associate at a large law firm and held a legal intern position with BODENHEIMER in Cologne, Germany. Emily graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she coached the Moot Court Vi’s International Arbitration Team, and had a note titled A Tale of Two Preemptions: The New York Convention Preempts the McCarran-Ferguson Act on Its Own Muster, published while she was on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She was also a research assistant for Dean Peter B. Rutledge in international arbitration, and for Professor Nathan Chapman in constitutional law and religious liberties.
