Andres graduated as a Dean’s Scholar from Florida International University’s College of Law where he served as a Staff Editor of the World Arbitration & Mediation Review and member of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and Negotiation and Mediation Teams. During law school, Andres represented FIU Law in the 2024 Moot Madrid competition, achieving the final rounds for the first time in the program’s history. His leadership roles included serving as Founding President of the Venezuelan American Law Students Association (VENAMLSA) and Vice-President of the Jewish Law Students Association. Andres received the Outstanding Service to the International Commercial Arbitration Team and the Pro Bono Service Medallion at graduation.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Andres was an intern at the City of Miami’s Office of the City Attorney, a Judicial Intern in Judge Beth Bloom’s Judicial Intern Academy, and a law clerk in a recognized boutique complex commercial litigation firm. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Andres is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
