Simone has extensive experience working on transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of energy and non-energy commodity portfolios, assets, and businesses, along with more structured transactions involving energy management and market optimisation structures, as well as inventory monetisation arrangements. She has documented, structured, analysed, and negotiated both physical and financial UK and European energy commodity agreements for a range of clients.

Simone has undertaken multiple secondments, including one at the FICC desk of an international investment bank, another with a large commodity trading company in Geneva, and most recently, to a Middle Eastern national oil company, establishing its trading business.
