Cailin’s practice focuses on consumer litigation, civil defense and commercial disputes, particularly in defending pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer health companies in product liability and toxic tort matters.
Cailin most recently held a prestigious clerkship with the New Jersey Supreme Court, serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Justice Michael Noriega. In this role, she submitted bench memoranda to prepare the court for oral argument, composed certification memoranda recommending whether to grant petitions submitted to the court, and assisted with the opinion writing process.
Prior to serving as a judicial law clerk, Cailin worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Katharine S. Hayden at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, where she assisted with drafting opinions on federal law matters and observed trial proceedings. Cailin’s practical legal experience was further enriched by her tenure as a student attorney at the Seton Hall University School of Law Center for Social Justice, Family Law Clinic, where she appeared in court, counseled, and advocated on behalf of indigent clients.
As a former summer associate at Reed Smith, Cailin gained valuable experience conducting legal research, drafting internal memoranda, and observing trial preparation procedures.
