Liam has advised developers and contractors on major construction and engineering projects throughout the world, including with respect to nuclear, aerospace, renewables, offshore and onshore oil and gas, healthcare, process and power plants, roads, pipelines, infrastructure, residential and commercial premises, port facilities, dams and shipbuilding.
He is highly experienced with FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, JCT, and other standard form construction contracts.
Liam is a qualified solicitor-advocate and has advised clients in arbitrations under all the major international arbitration rules (including ICC, LCIA, SCC, AAA, HKIAC, DIAC, LMAA and SIAC).
He also has extensive experience of litigation, both in front of the Technology & Construction Court in London and internationally, adjudication, mediation, expert determination and tiered contractual dispute resolution mechanisms under all of the major standard form construction contracts (including DABs and DAABs).
