Tammi is an associate in the Century City office of Reed Smith. She has experience representing commercial entities in both litigation and transactional contexts. Her main clients are developers, owners, buyers, and sellers in real estate transactions. Her work includes the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of commercial real estate for solar, wind, and battery storage projects. She also represents commercial insurance policyholders against insurers, secured creditors, and financial institutions against debtors in bankruptcy.
While at the firm, Tammi has also represented pro bono and 501(3)(c) clients with habeas petitions, asylum petitions, guardianship, succession planning, and other litigation. In addition, she has successfully represented veterans of the U.S. military in discharge upgrade applications to the Board for Corrections of Military Records.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Tammi served as the President of USC’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, Vice President of the Gould Art Law Society, and Treasurer for the USC Sports Law Society from 2020–2021. She was recognized as an inaugural USC Diversity Fellow in 2021 for her work advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at USC. Tammi also received the 2021 Justice John Aiso Scholarship from the Japanese American Bar Association Education Foundation, which is awarded to one law student who has demonstrated a commitment to serving the Asian Pacific Islander Community. That same year, she was the Senior Citations Editor for the USC Interdisciplinary Law Journal and an extern to the Honorable Dolly M. Gee in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
