Nick is a member of the Global Commercial Disputes Group. His practice focuses on advising clients on, and litigating matters involving, corporate and alternative entity governance, fiduciary duties, statutory and contractual rights, and complex commercial transactions. He maintains a national practice, having litigated cases for some of the world’s largest companies in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration tribunals around the United States.
Although Nick’s clients span across numerous industries, Nick primarily represents health care companies including retail pharmacies, wholesale drug distributors, drug and device manufacturers, private equity firms, and other investors in the life sciences space. Nick leverages his specialized knowledge of the healthcare sector to help his clients navigate some of the most complicated matters facing their businesses. In this regard, Nick serves as a member of the firm’s Retail & Consumer Goods group, with a primary focus on advising retail pharmacy and health clinic clients.
Nick also has extensive experience seeking and defending temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and their equivalents. As a member of the firm’s Emergency Injunctions, Temporary Relief, and Equivalents team, Nick advises clients throughout the life cycle of the emergency relief process – from pre-litigation advocacy to post-litigation resolution.
In addition, as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) champion, Nick has taken on a variety of leadership roles both inside and outside the firm. Nick is currently the DE&I Market Chair of the firm’s Philadelphia office as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group. He has also previously served as the associate chair of the firm’s Hispanic/Latinx business inclusion group (UNIDOS), the associate chair of the Philadelphia office’s DE&I committee, a member of the Philadelphia Office’s Racial Equity Plan team, and the vice president of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Region IV (Delaware and Pennsylvania).
