Oliver is an associate in the Financial Industry Group in our Dubai office and has experience advising on restructuring and insolvency matters in a number of jurisdictions. Oliver’s experience includes distressed acquisitions and disposals, personal bankruptcy, fraud, asset-tracing, debt and antecedent claims as well as advising on directors’ duties and security enforcement.
Oliver also has a broad range of common law and UAE commercial litigation experience, having been involved in a wide range of complex matters (both contentious and non-contentious) for multinational companies and banks, including breach of contract claims, miss-selling claims, shareholder disputes, debt claims, commercial disputes and enforcement.
Oliver previously worked for a large regional firm in Dubai for just under two years, and before that he worked for an international law firm in the UK.
