James is an associate in the Shipping Group in the firm’s New York office. He concentrates his practice in debt finance and private equity and has experience in a wide range of secured and unsecured finance transactions involving ship finance, acquisition finance, refinancings and restructurings. He also represents private equity funds and other parties in cross-border and domestic corporate and commercial transactions involving shipping, including joint ventures, vessel sales and purchases, and other similar transactions.
In addition, James has experience in the area of private fund formation and counseling.
