He has extensive experience in advising strategics, funds, and emerging technology companies on stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, recapitalizations, consolidations, auctions, leveraged buyouts, venture financing and distressed investments.

Lilly was previously an M&A and corporate partner in Baker McKenzie’s Palo Alto office, and, before that, chaired Greenberg Traurig's Silicon Valley corporate practice group. Lilly has practiced in Silicon Valley for over 15 years and has nearly three decades of experience working on transformative cross-border and domestic M&A transactions. Over his career, he has advised in the negotiation and execution of numerous major acquisitions and leveraged buyout transactions in the information technology, fintech, auto tech, health care and AI.
