This week, Reed Smith earned significant recognition of its strength in litigation, and of its accomplishments preparing cases and defending clients in court.

Today, the firm garnered two recognitions in the BTI Litigation Outlook 2022, which named Reed Smith a “Leader” in Class Actions and also in Complex Employment Litigation. The BTI Litigation Outlook provides insight about industry-wide trends law firms may use when deciding where to invest and target resources. It also identifies and details the law firms at the forefront of the litigation market.

In a separate development, the False Claims Litigation Report 2021, published by LexisNexis, reported that Reed Smith defended clients in more cases brought under the False Claims Act and similar state laws than any other law firm except one. Reed Smith represented corporate defendants in 24 false claims cases filed in federal and state court between 2016 and 2020, one of just seven law firms that tackled 20 or more such cases in that time period, as reported by Law360.
