Marty is a highly regarded member of the firm's Global Commercial Disputes Group, recognized as an experienced trial attorney who devotes his practice to managed care litigation and counseling. He has successfully litigated a variety of complex individual, multi-party and class action managed-care cases nationwide. His profound understanding of legal issues related to ERISA, RICO, the Affordable Care Act, the Mental Health Parity Act, provider networks, claims-denials, prompt pay, bad faith, breach of contract, and a variety of common law claims has consistently delivered favorable outcomes for his clients.

Marty is a thought leader who stays abreast of the latest industry trends and who, along with the Managed Care team, authored the Managed Care Outlook, an in-depth look into the key themes and issues managed care organizations could face in 2024 and beyond. He was also instrumental in developing the Post-Dobbs Tracker, a subscription-based service to help in- house lawyers at managed care entities mitigate risk in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s landscape-altering Dobbs decision, which repealed Roe v. Wade.
