Angie’s practice focuses on data privacy and digital accessibility. A Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. (CIPP/US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Angie supports clients in a wide range of industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, entertainment and media, consumer packaged goods, retail, real estate, hospitality, travel, and financial services.
Angie has extensive experience advising clients on compliance with health privacy laws and frameworks, including HIPAA, FTC guidance, and the Washington My Health, My Data Act; state comprehensive privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA); and biometric privacy laws such as Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act. She assists clients in developing privacy programs that reflect multiple and complex regimes, and she provides counsel on issues related to data analytics, online tracking, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), consumer and employee privacy rights, security incident preparedness and response, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM compliance, and digital accessibility requirements under the ADA and other laws.
