Each meeting features a particular AI or data analytics tool, which we discuss in detail in the context of a practice problem relevant to state tax.

This month’s topic is Enough Talk—Getting Agents to Act, Not Just Chat.
We’ll describe ways to enhance agents by enabling them to perform executable actions such as: reading and sending emails, summarizing attachments, and calendaring deadlines. We’ll also discuss using Microsoft Power Automate to create automated flows and enabling agents to invoke these flows as actions (or tools) in Copilot Studio. The practice problem will involve creating an automated tool to identify and summarize audit IDRs and calendar response deadlines. Upon registration, participants will receive a more detailed explanation of the practice problem along with other resources. Although the solution will be examined in detail during the meeting, participants are encouraged to attempt a solution in advance.
Participants will remain anonymous to other participants but can submit typed questions during or after the meeting.
