Jude Halawi

Associate

New York

Jude guides employers through high-stakes disputes, complex mass-tort dockets, and high-impact appeals, advising companies across industries in commercial, environmental, and employment litigation. Drawing on a decade of trial and appellate experience, he brings a strategic, employer-focused perspective to every stage of a case. He distills dense legal issues into business-oriented solutions and executes litigation strategies that minimize exposure while advancing corporate goals.

Employers retain Jude to defend nationwide class actions, toxic-exposure claims, and coordinated environmental proceedings, and to prosecute affirmative claims that safeguard trade secrets, enforce non-competes, and unlock insurance coverage. Because he has tried cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, Jude anticipates the opposition’s playbook and negotiates from a position of strength.

When a matter reaches the appellate stage, Jude crafts dispositive motions and arguments that preserve hard-won trial victories – or reverse adverse ones – before state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, and mediators. He also counsels employers on compliance and policy updates to reduce the risk of future enforcement actions by OSHA, the EPA, and other agencies.
